On Saturday 16^th July, the heavens opened in the morning severely delaying attempts to set Westwick Field up for the annual Village Fete.

After much discussion of weather maps and the prospects for later in the day, a decision was taken to carry on with the day.

Sadly many stalls either did not turn up or were put off by the weather.

For those who stuck with the LGVA a great afternoon was had by all.

Thank you to all those who supported the event, either in the setting up, or clearing away. And of course many thanks to those who came to support the day!
